The mid Swabian Alb mountain range is home to a dense and well-signposted network of hiking routes, which is maintained by the Swabian Alb Association, the State Forestry Administrations as well as the cities and communes. Signposted hiking routes start from numerous hiking car parks. Local tourism organisations offer guided hiking tours in the summer season. And there is a comprehensive range of hiking maps and hiking books available at book retailers.

Specially trained men and women provide guided tours of the mid-Swabian Alb mountain range. There are over 20 cycling and hiking routes to choose from. For annual programmes and personal appointments, please contact the Tourist Information centre.
